I know y’all are busy praying for #ukraine and world peace but I would be so grateful if you can say an extra prayer for me this week as I’m about to face the biggest challenge of my life head on and go under the knife.
I put on a brave face and maintain optimism, hope and my faith that God has His reasons but it doesn’t take away my fear of the unknown. Wednesday is surgery, where I’ll be losing body parts that have always made me a woman. I’m in amazing hands with my incredible team of doctors and I know that eventually I’ll have the rack (sorry, bad joke) of my dreams but until then, I could use the extra prayers to get me through. After surgery I will know if there’s anymore cancer (in the lymph nodes) and what I may or may not be facing treatment-wise so I’ll be sure to post as I’m able. Thank you in advance.
