This morning I received the best news I’ve had since my diagnosis. Not only am I cancer free, I do NOT need chemotherapy. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has stood by me, had my back, listened to me, wiped my tears, let me scream, understood my mood swings and loved me anyway. Your support has not gone unnoticed and I am so blessed to have you in my life.
My journey is not over. It is just beginning. Still medications to take (for 5 years), surgeries to be had and healing to be done but I am grateful to God that today is a brand new day and I have a fresh start at life. My heart is full as I start a new chapter of healing inside and out.
